The Universal Banker I will be responsible for conducting client and bank transactions with accuracy, speed, efficiency, and professionalism standards. Responsible for consistently providing excellent client service and to cross-sell bank products and services and to generate referrals as appropriate. Employees in this position may be progressively cross-trained in new account processes as deemed appropriate and in conjunction with the sales and service needs of the branch.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Provides exceptional service in handling clients in-person or on the telephone. </li><li> Performs teller or new accounts or client service functions when needed. </li><li> Processes deposits, withdrawals, check cash and other transactions. </li><li> Assist with posting transactions over authority limits or exceptionally complex transactions. </li><li> Responsible for loss prevention in the processing all transactions and duties. </li><li> Issues cashier’s checks and other negotiable items. </li><li> Assist with opening new accounts and gathering customer information. </li><li> Keep informed and compliant of policies, practices, regulations, and laws applicable to the job function. </li><li> Input client information to the bank system for various transactions. </li><li> Maintains a cash drawer and audits the cash drawer according to policy and schedule. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements/Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Minimum one year of experience in bank operations preferred, but not required. </li><li> Cash handling experience in a bank or retail setting preferred. </li><li> Ability to follow precise directions and learn banking equipment and software quickly. </li><li> Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives. </li><li> Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone. </li><li> Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints. </li><li> Bilingual in English and Korean is preferred. <br><br><br></li></ul>Employee Benefits & Perks<br><br><ul><li> Medical, Dental, & Vision : Open Bank offers medical, dental, and vision insurance for all full-time employees and their immediate family members.
