Conduct research and collect data to inform planning decisions and policies. Analyze data and make recommendations for land use, transportation, and infrastructure improvements. Collaborate with other city departments, community stakeholders, and external partners to ensure coordinated and sustainable development. Review and evaluate proposed development projects to ensure they comply with city regulations and goals. Provide expertise and guidance on zoning, land use, and environmental regulations. Communicate and present plans and proposals to city officials, community groups, and the general public. Monitor and track progress of planning projects and initiatives. Identify and address potential issues and challenges related to development and growth. Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to urban planning. Participate in public engagement and outreach efforts to gather feedback and input from the community. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including developers, businesses, and residents. Attend and contribute to meetings, workshops, and conferences related to urban planning.
