<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><h2><u><b>Job Details</b></u></h2></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><p><b><span>ChristianaCare</span></b><span> is currently looking for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners (CCHP), a large and established </span>hospital employed group of over 150 physicians and 30 advanced practice clinicians servicing 3 hospital campuses (1,300 beds) in Newark and Wilmington, DE and Elkton, MD in a part-time or full-time virtual nocturnist role.</p><p>The selected virtual nocturnist candidate will <span>provide remote clinical management to patients at the Newark and Wilmington campus located in Delaware and Cecil campus located in Maryland with the support and collaboration by a hospitalist physician. </span></p><p></p><p><i><span>This is a unique opportunity to practice in an acute care setting from your home!</span></i> </p><p></p><p><span>Full-time and part-time positions available. </span></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>Nocturnist APC Hospitalist Details:</span></u></b></p><ul><li><span>13-16 shifts per 4-week block (includes 2 full weekends) </span></li><li><span>Shifts include 9:30p-8:30a, 11:30p-8:30a</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>Compensation & Benefits </span></u></b></p><ul><li>Competitive compensation plus premium pay for working in dedicated off-shift role</li><li>Yearly incentive plan with payout of up to 5% of base salary</li><li>Optional APC Professional Advancement Model with stipend</li><li><span>Generous PTO and PTO Cash Out Program </span></li><li>$2,250 CME Allowance + 5 CME Days</li><li><span>Health, dental and vision benefits</span></li><li><span>403b and Defined Contribution Plans</span></li><li><span>Fully paid malpractice insurance</span></li><li><span>12 Weeks Paid Parental Leave</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>Clinical Duties:</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Performing cross coverage on patients admitted under inpatient status.</li><li>Assesses health status of assigned patients through complete medical history and chart review</li><li>Analyze patient data and formulate an individualize plan of care based on patient assessment and needs in collaboration with the physician, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of prescribed management plan.</li><li>Establish priorities based on patient needs and act on these accordingly.</li><li>Order, interpret, and/or perform necessary diagnostic testing or labs.</li><li>Initiate referral to appropriate resources and services.</li><li>Foster efficient patient flow through system or discharge.</li><li>Complete appropriate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), which progress notes and orders</li><li>Submit billing in a timely fashion according to policy.</li><li>Utilize teaching/learning principles coupled with an expert clinical knowledge to promote and provide education and counseling to the patient and/or family including teach back.</li><li>Act as a liaison for patients, families, and other health professionals.</li><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practice <span><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">guidelines/protocols,</span></span> quality and <span><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">performance improvement</span></span> projects, algorithms, and research.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and assist in efforts to improve patient satisfaction scores.</li><li>Learns and uses new information, skills and knowledge.</li><li>Maintains privileges, mandatory education, and regulatory requirements as needed for area of specialization.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>Requirements:</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Delaware and Maryland</li><li>Acute Care NP license required</li><li>Prescriptive Authority or eligibility for the state of Delaware and Maryland</li><li>DEA registration required for Delaware and Maryland</li><li>ACLS required</li><li>Minimum 3 years’ inpatient experience required, hospitalist preferred but may consider other specialty experience</li></ul><p></p><p>Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, ChristianaCare is one of the country's most dynamic health care organizations!
