The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) is the professional organization for Chief Information Officers and other senior healthcare IT leaders. CHIME enables its members and business partners to collaborate, exchange ideas, develop professionally and advocate the effective use of information management to improve the health and care throughout the communities they serve.<br><br>Our Mission is to advance and serve healthcare leaders and the industry improving health and care globally through the utilization of knowledge and technology.<br><br>Job purpose<br><br>As a member of the leadership team, the Vice President of Marketing will serve as a key strategic business partner to help develop and execute the company's and marketing strategy. This leader will create and guide promotional and marketing campaigns and strategies to drive member and customer engagement, communicate to membership and the larger healthcare IT industry about the products, programs, services and events CHIME offers, and ultimately grow the overall engagement of CHIME's audiences.<br><br>Marketing campaign strategies will strongly utilize both CHIME's digital platforms and vehicles, and will succeed with the coordinated utilization and activation of the full marketing, communications, digital media and creative team members.<br><br>The VP or Marketing will work closely with the CDMO, senior leadership, leadership members and other team members to ensure proactive and effective marketing of all program initiatives on behalf of CHIME.<br><br>Duties and responsibilities<br><ul><li>Conceptualize, design, plan, execute and measure impactful, strategic marketing campaigns that draw on the strengths of the entire department (communications, marketing, creative and technology) to drive business and deep audience engagement</li><li>Develop creative themes, content and strategy for campaigns that utilize assets including thought leadership, email campaigns, graphics, website content, videos, social media, ads, informational collateral and presentations</li><li>Collect information and assess content needs from internal products, program and service owners to determine optimal marketing tactics and strategies to support end goals and objectives</li><li>Build strong relationships and collaborate with leaders and contributors across the organization, including business development, membership, education, programming, public policy, international, and more to conceptualize marketing campaigns in support of business objectives</li><li>Lead, foster and empower a high-performing, collaborative team across brand, creative design, communications and PR, content production and distribution strategy, product marketing, project management and lead generation; drive vision and oversee efforts across these functions</li><li>Establish and drive benchmarks to determine effectiveness of marketing programs and support decision making; define key marketing KPIs and design marketing dashboard to share with executive team and board</li><li>Work with departmental leaders to translate marketing goals and objectives into strategic, executable campaigns and plans with measurable results, defining what support is needed to hit objectives</li><li>Lead the development of integrated marketing plans by sub-brand, including strategies and tactics that increase brand awareness, relevancy, and generate demand</li><li>Collaborate with key stakeholders to strategize, recommend and implement innovative and creative marketing and promotional campaigns in existing, new and emerging channels</li><li>Develop and manage a marketing campaign development process, defining workflows and metrics; work with the Project Managers to track campaigns and team contributions in Asana; maintain an organizational marketing campaign calendar in Asana</li><li>Build and oversee an audience growth strategy to solidify CHIME's position as the market leader serving the digital health industry; work with product and program owners to define, develop and manage audience personas</li><li>Monitor and ensure on-brand positioning across all CHIME marketing campaigns including brand voice and visual identity</li><li>Collaborate with various team members and teams to both direct and support the content creation plan for marketing projects and campaigns; events and programs; and materials such as presentations, informational or sales collateral and other product- or program-specific deliverables</li><li>Monitor and utilize data and analytics to optimize content creation strategies for improved performance metrics; use data and analytics tools to support the evaluation of campaign objectives achievement</li></ul><ul><li>Achieve gross revenue target and profits margins</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other duties as required and assigned</li></ul><br><br>Qualifications<br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field is required</li><li>10+ years of marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility; proven success setting and executing marketing strategies</li><li>5+ years managing marketing, communications and/or creative specialists</li><li>5+ years professional experience with digital media, digital marketing, social media communications and email marketing platforms is required</li><li>5+ year's experience contributing to or managing email campaigns is required; utilization of email automation and email personalization is preferred</li><li>3+ years' experience developing both content and campaign strategies for distribution in the digital health, healthcare, healthcare IT, technology or relevant industry is preferred</li><li>3+ years' experience contributing to or managing social media accounts is required; coordination of paid social advertising techniques is preferred</li><li>1+ year experience maintaining a Contentful website or assisting in content edits and review is required; familiarity with Google Analytics is preferred</li><li>3+ years experience as a Marketing Vice-President or equivalent in previous work history</li><li>Experience working in a marketing agency or consultative work environment is preferred</li><li>Experience working with a team project management tool (i.e. Asana, Trello, Jira) is preferred</li><li>Excellent creative and informative writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling and verbal communication skills are required</li><li>Portfolio of marketing, promotional and digital media campaigns.</li><li>Excellent time-management and organizational skills</li><li>Extreme attention to detail.</li><li>Team-player and builder who can execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment and startup environment within a non-profit, member-centric organization;
