Warehouse Supervisor - Graveyard Shift - Tacoma Distribution Center

Gensco has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our distribution center in Tacoma, WA. This position is Monday-Friday Graveyard Shift. Full Time - Pay Range $25 - $32.50/hour based on experience.

Summary

  • Responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service functions of a Branch Warehouse
  • Responsible for Team building, implementing continuous education processes for all Branch Team Members, establishing objective and measurable goals, and clearly communicating these goals and standards to Branch Team
  • Maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and Customers
  • Suggest and implement improvements in warehouse cost management, best practices, and operational process design and implementation

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2+ years related experience with Gensco or equivalent preferred
  • Prior direct customer service experience – desire to work directly with customers
  • Excellent knowledge of the products Gensco sells
  • Understanding of inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, and delivery functions
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Strong decision-making abilities - understand impact and implications of decisions
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong people management and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to organize people and resources to get the job done
