The Role: We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join our Phoenix team. This is a part-time role ideal for someone who brings confidence, calm leadership, and deep care to their work.

As a Lead Planner, you will be entrusted with managing client relationships, overseeing wedding logistics, leading event days, and representing our company with professionalism and warmth. This role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to lead with both authority and empathy.

This position is client-facing and highly collaborative, and it plays a meaningful role in upholding the standard of service our company is known for.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Serving as the primary planner and point of contact for assigned couples
  • Leading clients through the planning process with clarity, care, and confidence
  • Creating, managing, and executing detailed wedding timelines and logistics
  • Coordinating with vendor partners to ensure seamless event execution
  • Leading wedding days with calm authority, professionalism and grace
  • Mentoring and directing Assistant Planners on event days
  • Communicating clearly and proactively with internal leadership and team members
  • Upholding company standards, values, and processes in all client and vendor interactions

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Part-time, variable hours based on event schedule and seasonality
  • Weekend availability required for event days
  • Evenings and weekends required for client meetings
  • Compensation commensurate with experience

Applicant Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in the event industry (venue management, catering, event coordination, etc.)
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle
  • Experience with high-volume email load and administrative duties
  • Able to make commitments 1-2 years in advance
  • Available on weekends and holidays
  • Experienced with G-Suite, Canva, Pinterest
  • Ability to lift or carry 25 lbs
